The Stone Was Rolled Away
From Silence to Resurrection, From Death to Life
There are moments in history that divide everything into before and after.
Easter is not one of them. Easter is the moment that defines them all.
Holy Week begins with tension. Jesus enters Jerusalem not as a political conqueror, but as a King who knows exactly where the road leads. The crowds shout, the palms are raised, yet beneath the celebration is a coming weight that few can see.
At the Last Supper, He sits with His disciples and speaks not of victory as the world defines it, but of sacrifice. Bread is broken. His blood is passed. A new covenant is established. He is not reacting to events. He is fulfilling them. He is not just sharing a meal. He is preparing hearts for a reality they cannot yet comprehend.
Then comes Good Friday.
Noise. Chaos. Violence. The cross stands as both judgment and mercy. The Son of God, beaten and crucified, breathes His last. The earth shakes. The curtain tears. And it appears, to the watching world, that darkness has won.
The world saw defeat. Heaven saw fulfillment.
And then comes Saturday. Silence. No voice from heaven. No movement. No visible change.
The disciples scatter. Hope feels buried. The promise seems distant.
This is where many people live. Not in the noise of Friday, not yet in the joy of Sunday, but in the silence of Saturday. When prayers feel unanswered. When direction feels unclear. When God seems quiet.
Silence is often where God does His deepest work.
Yet Scripture gives us a detail that changes everything.
“Early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb…” — John 20:1 (NIV)
While it was still dark.
Nothing had changed in the natural. The stone was still expected to be in place. Death still appeared final. And yet Mary moved toward Jesus anyway.
She did not come with certainty. She came with devotion. In that movement, she encountered resurrection.
The stone was rolled away. Not to let Jesus out, but to let the world see that He was no longer there.
“He is not here; he has risen, just as he said.” — Matthew 28:6 (NIV)
“I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever!” — Revelation 1:18 (NIV)
This is not part of the story. This is the story. Not philosophy. Not tradition. Not religion. Resurrection.
Death did not win. Silence did not have the final word. Darkness was not the end of the story.
God was working in the silence.
There is a Kingdom pattern here that reveals itself again and again. What appears finished is often being fulfilled. What looks buried is often being prepared for resurrection.
Even now. Even in the world of money, we see echoes of this pattern.
Bitcoin was introduced in a moment of global uncertainty, dismissed, misunderstood, declared dead more times than can be counted. There have been long seasons where it felt like nothing was happening. Silence. Doubt. Questions about whether it would endure.
And yet, beneath the surface, it continued to operate. Block by block. Quietly. Faithfully. Unstopped.
Truth does not require constant noise. It requires consistency.
Bitcoin is not the resurrection. Jesus alone holds that authority. Bitcoin reflects a truth the world often forgets. Systems built on truth endure through seasons where nothing appears to be happening.
The world often misreads silence as absence. God is never absent.
“You will not abandon me to the realm of the dead…” — Acts 2:27 (NIV)
This is Easter.
The day death was defeated. The day hope was restored. The day everything changed, even if the world did not yet fully understand it.
Today, even the rhythm of Sabbath gives way to celebration. Not out of neglect, but in reverence. Because resurrection is not routine. It is victory.
This is not a day for quiet reflection alone. This is a day for rejoicing.
Jesus is alive.
The stone has been rolled away. Death has been defeated and because of that nothing in your life is beyond redemption.
Kingdom Principles
• God works in the silence
• Resurrection follows surrender
• Truth endures beyond what is seen
• Hope is never truly buried
Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Today we rejoice in the truth that changes everything.
Jesus, You conquered death. You rose in power. You fulfilled every promise. Thank You for the cross, for the sacrifice, and for the victory that only You could accomplish.
In seasons where life feels quiet, remind us that You are still working. When things seem still, give us faith to move forward “while it is still dark,” trusting that resurrection is already in motion.
Fill our hearts with joy today. Restore hope where it has been lost. Breathe life into what feels dead. Strengthen our faith in Your promises and Your perfect timing.
We celebrate You, Jesus. The risen King. The Living One.
In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏✝️🔥
