The Daily Bread of Loving Denise | Our Anniversary
Celebrating One Year of Covenant, Grace, and Loving Denise More Every Day
The Block Reward of Love
One year ago today, I married Denise.
I could write about the ceremony, the beauty of the day, the way God stitched together a story neither of us could have scripted, or the countless moments that made July 7, 2025 feel like more than a date on a calendar. It was a covenant. It was a marker. It was one of those rare days when Heaven seemed to lean close enough for earth to notice.
The truth is, marriage is not finally proven on the wedding day. It is revealed and strengthened in the daily bread.
Jesus taught us to pray, “Give us this day our daily bread.” Not tomorrow’s bread. Not next year’s bread. Not a lifetime supply of certainty we can store in a vault and never think about again. Daily bread. Daily grace. Daily mercy. Daily patience. Daily forgiveness. Daily choosing.
That has been the gift of this first year with Denise.
My love for her has grown because every day has revealed another layer of God’s kindness through her. She has been my encouragement, my covering, my laughter, my steady place, my prayer partner, my challenger, my best friend, and my biggest supporter of Kingdom Bitcoin. She has believed in this calling before it looked polished, before it looked obvious, and before the world had any reason to care.
That kind of support is not small. It is sacred.
There are people who love the finished product. Denise has loved the process. She has embraced the time commitment, the writing, the editing, the vision, the conviction, and the fire that keeps rising in me to tell the truth about God, bitcoin, stewardship, and the future we are leaving behind.
She has not merely stood beside Kingdom Bitcoin. She has helped make space for it to breathe.
Bitcoin teaches us something profound about time. Roughly every ten minutes, another block is added. Quietly. Predictably. Faithfully. One block after another. No speeches. No applause. No drama needed. Just the steady rhythm of a network doing what it was designed to do.
Marriage has its own kind of block reward. Not measured in sats. Measured in trust. Measured in laughter at the end of a long day. Measured in forgiveness offered before pride hardens. Measured in prayers whispered when no one else hears. Measured in lattes and mochas, car rides, small kindnesses, shared glances, inside jokes, and the joy of continuing to build together.
Bitcoin’s final coins are projected to be mined around the year 2140. That is far beyond our time here on earth. Long after Denise and I have finished our race, blocks will still be added, one by one, as the protocol keeps bearing witness to scarcity, patience, and honest measurement.
Love of God reaches even further. Because marriage, at its best, is not merely about two people enjoying life together. It is a living parable of covenant. A reminder that God does not love us only in the highlight reel. He loves us in the daily bread. He meets us in ordinary faithfulness. He teaches us that the greatest things are built over time.
Block by block. Prayer by prayer. Day by day.
I love Denise more today than I did one year ago. Because of the trust that build each day. Because God has been in it. Because grace has met us. Because every day has given me another reason to see the woman He placed beside me and say, “Thank You, Lord.”
There is a reason Ecclesiastes says, “Two are better than one… A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”
Denise and I are not building this marriage alone. Jesus is the third strand.
He is the author of our story, the keeper of our covenant, and the One who gives us enough grace for today. Kingdom Bitcoin may speak often about inheritance, honest money, and the next 250 years, but today I am reminded that the most important inheritance begins at home.
Denise and I were guests on Heaven Meets Earth Show created by our dear friends, Abby Robertson Allen and Ryan Bethea. Our show was released on Monday with Abby and our Pastor Greg Hendrick as hosts. It is Denise and I being real in our faith. Please go watch and support this outstanding podcast.
It begins in covenant. It begins in daily bread. It begins in love that keeps adding blocks long after the world stops watching.
Happy first anniversary, Denise.
You are my daily bread blessing, my greatest earthly gift, and the woman I will keep choosing until Christ calls us home.
Kingdom Principle 👑
Covenant is built through daily faithfulness.
God rarely builds the most important things in our lives all at once. He forms love, trust, purpose, and legacy through daily bread moments of grace, forgiveness, patience, and obedience. A faithful marriage becomes a living witness that covenant is stronger than convenience.
Prayer 🙏
Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of marriage and for the daily bread of grace You have given Denise and me this first year. Thank You for her love, encouragement, wisdom, laughter, and faithfulness.
Teach us to keep building our marriage with humility, joy, forgiveness, and purpose. May our covenant reflect Your love, strengthen our family, and bless the work You have entrusted to us through Kingdom Bitcoin.
In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏❤️🍞₿🕊️👑
