THE BLOCK THAT COMES NEXT
What Seven Lessons About Bitcoin Reveal About Time, Truth, and Faithfulness
The chart was still open. Not because he was waiting for the price to move. Because he was not quite ready to close it.
Over the past several weeks, he had learned more about money than he had in the previous twenty years. He had discovered that regret distorts memory. He had questioned the ruler he had always trusted. He had begun to understand scarcity, adoption, institutional interest, volatility, and stewardship. The numbers on the screen had not disappeared.
Something inside him had changed. He no longer saw a chart. He saw a mirror.
It is remarkable how often we believe life changes because circumstances improve, when in reality life changes because understanding deepens. The markets may look exactly the same on Tuesday as they did on Monday. The headlines may continue shouting. Politicians may continue promising. Central banks may continue expanding the money supply. Bitcoin may continue producing another block roughly every ten minutes.
The world keeps moving. The question is whether we are moving with wisdom.
That has always been the deeper purpose Kingdom Bitcoin. Not to persuade people that bitcoin is perfect. Not to convince everyone to purchase bitcoin tomorrow. Not to predict prices, cycles, or headlines. But to invite honest reflection about money, stewardship, and the quiet relationship between truth and time.
Every article has pointed toward the same destination from a different direction. Regret teaches us that yesterday cannot be stewarded. The ruler reminds us that honest measurement matters. Scarcity reveals the power of credible boundaries. Adoption teaches patience. Institutions remind us that recognition is not completion. Volatility exposes foundations. Faithfulness always begins today.
Perhaps that is why Scripture so often speaks about redeeming time rather than recovering it. Paul tells us to walk wisely, making the best use of the days we have been given. Joel speaks of God restoring years the locusts have eaten. The Bible never pretends the past can be rewritten. It simply refuses to let yesterday become an excuse for wasting today.
The enemy delights in convincing people they have missed their moment. God consistently calls people into the next one. Moses was eighty. Caleb was eighty-five. Peter failed publicly before becoming one of the great leaders of the early Church. The prodigal son wasted an inheritance before discovering that repentance still found an open door.
The lesson is not about bitcoin. It is about God. The Father never tells the returning son, “You should have come home sooner.” He simply welcomes him home.
That truth has become increasingly meaningful to me as I have reflected on bitcoin. The greatest obstacle for many people is no longer ignorance. It is embarrassment. They believe they should have understood sooner. They compare themselves to early adopters and quietly conclude they are simply too late.
Stewardship has never been about perfect timing. It has always been about faithful obedience. The best financial decision you could have made fifteen years ago is no longer available. Today’s decision is. The best opportunity to learn may have been years ago. The opportunity to begin learning still exists. The best time to plant the tree may have passed. The next faithful season to plant has not.
This is why I have come to believe that bitcoin’s greatest gift may not ultimately be its scarcity. It may be its ability to teach low time preference. Every block reminds us that meaningful things are built patiently. Every halving reminds us that discipline compounds. Every satoshi reminds us that small, consistent acts often become extraordinary over long periods of time.
Bitcoin quietly refuses to hurry because the protocol understands something many of us forget. Truth does not become more true because people become impatient.
As I closed my own laptop after writing these pages, I realized the most important question had quietly changed. I no longer found myself asking whether bitcoin would succeed. I found myself asking whether I would become the kind of steward capable of recognizing truth wherever God chose to reveal it.
Perhaps that is where every worthwhile journey eventually arrives. Not merely at better information. But at greater wisdom. The chart remained on the screen. The future remained unwritten. Another block would soon be added. Another opportunity for faithful stewardship would quietly arrive with it. The clock had not stopped.
Neither had God’s invitation to become wiser than we were yesterday.
Kingdom Principle 👑
God does not ask us to recover yesterday. He invites us to steward today with wisdom, faithfulness, and courage.
Every day presents another opportunity to honor God through truthful thinking, faithful stewardship, and patient obedience. The past may teach us, but only the present can be faithfully lived.
Prayer 🙏
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your patience, Your mercy, and the wisdom You freely give to those who seek You. Thank You that our hope is never found in perfect timing but in faithful obedience.
Teach us to become better stewards of the time, resources, opportunities, and understanding You have entrusted to us. Keep our hearts anchored in Jesus, our minds fixed upon truth, and our lives marked by patience rather than fear.
May every decision we make reflect Your wisdom and become part of an inheritance that blesses generations yet to come.
In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏📖⏳₿🕊️👑

Love you son. Dad
