Be You! A Birthday Tribute to Truth, to Calling, and to You
Honoring my wife Denise on her birthday. A woman rooted in John 15:5, speaking truth in a culture that resists it
Denise, I’ve watched you walk into rooms where truth was optional. I’ve watched you make truth non-negotiable.
This past weekend in Midland, Texas, at the Alpha Omega Leadership: The Masterpiece Women’s Event, you stood before a room full of women leaning in, searching, many of them carrying questions they didn’t yet have words for. You didn’t perform. You didn’t adjust to the room. You anchored it.
You spoke on Be You and Finding Your Fight, and what came through was not personality. It was identity. Not volume. Not opinion. Truth.
While the world argues right versus left, you return the conversation to right versus wrong. You don’t speak to win arguments. You speak to restore truth. That is why your voice carries. Your voice is not borrowed, it’s rooted.
Jesus said it in John 15:5 which so happens to be your favorite Bible verse:
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”
You don’t just believe that. You remain in it.
I’ve seen it in the quiet moments no one else sees. The preparation that isn’t about performance, but alignment. The prayers that aren’t about platform, but obedience. The way you return, again and again, to Him as your source, your center, your clarity.
That’s where your strength comes from that leads to an abundance of fruit.
Not manufactured. Not forced. Not curated for perception. Real fruit. The kind that grows because it’s connected to something living and unchanging.
“Be You” is not self-expression. It is alignment with who God already decided you are.
And you carry that message with a conviction that does not bend to culture. You don’t adjust truth to fit the room. You bring the room back to truth. Whether on stage, in conversation, or as a political contributor on NewsNation, you are not reacting to narratives. You are calling people higher.
You don’t follow culture. You call it back.
There is a courage in that which most people will never fully understand. Because it costs something. It costs comfort. It costs approval. It costs the ease of blending in.
Your courage produces something greater. Clarity. In a world that is increasingly confused about identity, truth, and purpose, clarity is one of the most valuable things a person can carry.
That is your fight. Not against people. For truth.
Not against opinions. For identity.
“Finding Your Fight” is not about conflict. It is about conviction.
It is knowing what is worth standing for, and having the strength to stand there when everything else shifts.
And in a way that continues to strike me, there is a reflection of that same principle in bitcoin. Not as a replacement for what is eternal, but as an echo of something deeper.
Bitcoin does not argue. It verifies.
In a world filled with opinions, it offers proof. It does not adjust to narratives. It does not respond to pressure. It operates on truth that can be checked, not truth that must be trusted.
That same integrity lives in how you speak. You never shape your message to fit the moment. You anchor it in what is true. Over time, that kind of consistency does something powerful. It builds trust. Not declared trust. Observed trust. The trust people come back to when everything else feels uncertain.
Denise, today we celebrate you. I honor what God is building through you. You are not becoming who you are. You are revealing who He already created.
I see the boldness in you. I see the discipline in you. I see the obedience in you. I see the impact, not just in the rooms you speak in, but in the lives you touch, often without even realizing it.
You are a voice of truth in a time that desperately needs it. A woman of conviction in a culture that rewards compromise. A reflection of what it means to remain connected to the source. In a world searching for identity, you remind it where to find it.
Happy Birthday to my beautiful wife. You don’t just speak truth. You stand in it helping others find their way back to it.
Kingdom Principles
Truth is not created, it is revealed
Identity is received from God, not assigned by culture
What remains connected will bear fruit
Verified truth will always outlast opinion
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY FOREVER!
